The Graduate Assistant within the Carroll University Department of Recreational Sports is responsible for the promotion and management of a well-organized, campus-wide recreation program that includes: Competitive Sports (Intramurals and Club Sports), Fitness, Outdoor Recreation, special events, marketing, and informal recreation, with an emphasis on student staff supervision and member service. This position serves as a key member of the administrative leadership team- directing and managing staff, offerings, and partnerships on campus in order to help develop and grow Campus Recreation and Wellness.
The Graduate Assistant reports to and receives general direction from the Director of Campus Recreation. The position primarily aids in the management of all Recreation student employees within the Department of Recreational Sports.

Must maintain full time status in an eligible Carroll University graduate program (tuition is fully waived for all graduate programs except for Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant). Additional approval is required for entrance in graduate programs outside of the Master of Education.
Position works an average of 25 hours per week. Stipend of $1,181/month, total $14,172/year. Approximate Start Date: July 1, 2019. Compensation package includes annual stipend and graduate tuition waiver. We offer a substantial amount of hands on experience, collaboration and autonomous leadership as well as 100% tuition remission (plus the stipend!) 6-9 credits are typically required to be taken each semester.
