Job Duties: Responsible for assisting with the scheduling, management, and the continued advancement of Campus Recreation Operations. This position places an emphasis on operations and event management through the training, scheduling, and mentoring of operation student employees. The intern will become well acquainted with the procedures and guidelines associated with Campus Recreation and operations and special events. Evening and weekend hours will be required.
Period of Appointment: September 2, 2019 – May 29th, 2020. Separate arrangements may be made on an individual basis.

Bachelor’s degree; experience in a university campus recreation operations and/or special events, prior CPR/SFA/AED certifications and instructor certifications are strongly preferred. Those seeking a career in recreation will receive preference.
NOTES: Additional Salary Information: Paid as an hourly wage $13.00 pr/hr with total approximating $13,500 over the 9-month period. The appointee will be paid twice monthly and expected to work an average of 29 hours a week (except for some university holidays & breaks.)
